Account start

Bring your cache. Check the fit. Start small.

No long intake form and no invitation to wait for. Sign in with your work email — the same link creates your workspace — then choose a paid plan and provision a Valkey database. Workload details are entered when you provision, right where they take effect. Not sure yet? Preview the whole dashboard with sample data, no account required.

Before you connect production traffic

Steada is built for small SaaS caches, rate limiters and session stores that can tolerate a restart or cache loss. Tenant databases run in NYC3, US East. Self-service plans offer 256 MiB–2 GiB and 50–400 connections. Leave memory headroom and test peak traffic.

There is no formal SLA, automatic replica failover, multi-region deployment or completed compliance certification. Sessions may need reauthentication after cache loss. If your requirements include a primary durable database or guaranteed recovery time, confirm a suitable service before migrating.

  1. Use the calculator and review plan limits.
  2. Check your commands, scripts and key prefixes against the compatibility guide.
  3. Create a database and scoped credential, then run the connection smoke test.
  4. Test representative traffic and keep your current endpoint available for rollback.

Account creation and the dashboard preview do not require a card. A database requires a paid subscription; no free database trial is advertised. Need help evaluating fit? Email support@steada.dev. Support is by email during business hours.

Self-serve path

Sizing lives in the product, not a form.

Command volume, dataset size, and rollback details only matter when you provision or resize a database — so you set them in the dashboard, right where they take effect, instead of guessing at them on a landing page. Everything you need to decide is in front of you when the decision is live.

Dashboard login

How signing in works.

One magic-link door for new and returning users. A new address gets its own workspace on first sign-in; an invite link joins you to an existing one. No password, and no secrets or workload details are ever pasted on this page.

Provisioning forms live in the authenticated dashboard after workspace setup.
