Managed Valkey · controlled beta

Flat, predictable managed Valkey for teams bleeding on Upstash's per-request meter.

Steada is invite-only managed Valkey (Redis-compatible), priced on capacity instead of per command — so a steady, high-volume cache, rate limiter, or session store costs the same whether it serves a thousand requests or a billion.

Secure by default

Isolation and TLS come standard — not behind a paywall.

On Upstash, production durability, encryption at rest, and monitoring live behind the +$200/mo Prod Pack add-on. Steada's security posture is structural, not an upsell — here is exactly what every database gets, with no SLA or compliance claims layered on top of the controlled beta.

01

Isolated, not pooled

Every database runs in its own memory-capped instance — Standard, Dedicated VM, or Bare-metal isolation tiers — so a noisy neighbour can't touch your keys, latency, or memory.

02

TLS on every connection

The default path is native Valkey RESP over TLS with password auth, verified against the public CA. No plaintext port, no opt-in toggle — encryption in transit is just how you connect.

03

No security tax

Isolation and TLS aren't bundled into a paid production tier. You don't pay extra to not be in a shared pool — the safe configuration is the only configuration.

Build only evidence

Controlled beta ships proof assets before platform surface area.

From the founder

“I'm building Steada in the open because infrastructure trust is earned, not claimed. Every number on this site is source-checked and dated, and every limit is stated plainly — no SLA theater, no hidden meter. If your Upstash bill is dominated by per-request pricing on a steady workload, bring it and I'll show you the math before you commit anything.”

— Yoni, founder of Steada
